We are happy to share that Ms. Amrutha Harish, PhD scholar of our department mentored by Dr. Sreeram K. Kalpathy and Prof. Sirish Namilae (Embry Riddle Aeronautical Unversity, USA,  Adjunct Faculty of MME, IITM) have won the best poster award for the title “Enhancement in Tensile Strength and Moisture Resistance of Surface Functionalized Jute Fibers” in the SustainX 2026 Conference on Circularity in Energy, Earth and Environment  held during 23rd- 25th July, at IC&SR, IIT Madras.
